Trans Pride NI 2024

On Saturday 14th September we headed to Writer’s Square for Trans Pride NI.

We had a stall where we chatted about our work with the Raise Your Voice Project and sent a clear message that the Women’s Sector in NI works alongside the LGBTQ+ Sector, our struggles are linked and overlapping. We were pleased to see many Women’s Policy Group colleagues in attendance and enjoying the day.

We were entertained by some excellent singing and drag performances, and heard some passionate speeches about the fight against transphobia and for trans healthcare.
