No Room for Racism

Reclaim the Agenda stood alongside colleagues from the feminist movement, women’s sector, trade unions and the wider community and voluntary sector in recent days to send a message - Belfast Welcomes Diversity.

Beginning 3 August we saw Islamophobic gatherings and attacks for around a week in Belfast and beyond. These followed a growing number of people from ethnic minority backgrounds being intimidated from their homes, business being attacked, and increased levels of hate crime in recent months and years.

We know the majority of people in our communities are welcoming and supportive to all. It's time to be vocal and challenge those who wish to divide us.
